For those who don’t know, The Price Is Right was a massively popular game show (remember them!) back in the day. The whole family would sit around the T.V. and watch ordinary people attempt to win prizes. The game show first aired in the U.S. back in 1956! In 1986 it hit U.K. screens for the first time, hosted by Leslie Crowther the show proved a massive hit with British audiences. The Price Is Right remains one of the most iconic games shows ever to appear on T.V.
It’s not unusual for themed scratch card games like ‘The Price Is Right’ to underdeliver. Often these games are nothing more than a reskin of an existing casino scratch card. However, I’m happy to report that ‘The Price Is Right’ has bucked this trend. Thankfully we have a fully developed new scratch card game with plenty of elements from the original T.V. show featured in the gameplay.
The gameplay is a nice mix of the familiar and new. The basic game is easy to understand. The player gets two separate panels to scratch off and reveals cash prizes. In the first area (Game 1), you must scratch away two rows and match three identical symbols to win. In the second area (Game 2) you’ll need to match YOUR winning symbol with one under the three panels. All this is pretty basic scratch card stuff. However, things get interesting when you unlock the bonus features. The Price Is Right Scratch Card has two of these bonus games. The first game is the famous ‘Cliff Hanger’ from the T.V. show. The second is the ‘Showcase Showdown’ spin the big wheel and win big! Both these bonus games are great fun, and you can watch me unlock one in the video below.
So how much can you win? Well, that depends on how much you’re willing to risk. This scratch card offers tiered jackpots, which means the amount you could win increase as your stake increases. Play for 10p and the top prize is only £1000. If you play for £2 that jackpot rises to £25,000. Jump to £5, and you could win £150,000, this is the maximum jackpot on offer. Will Hill advises that the RTP (return to player) for this scratch card is 89.0%. Remember that this is ‘the long-term, theoretically-expected payback’, and no individual player is guaranteed to achieve that rate. I played the game and managed a few small wins (see the video).
The Price Is Right is a new game to Will Hill’s growing collection of scratch cards. Will Hill is one of a few casinos remaining that features a dedicated ‘Scratch Card’ section. In total, they have 35 different games to choose from, including fun titles such as, Atari Star Raiders, King Kong Cash, Breaking Bad and Ted Big Money. Don’t forget they also feature giant jackpot games Deal Or No Deal, Genie Jackpots and Viva Scratch Vegas.
Free bets & promotional offers are only available to new customers, unless otherwise stated. Wagering requirements and other terms & conditions apply.
